Significant rainfall is expected continue for the next 10 to 13 hours. Moderate flood levels are expected to be exceeded at Lismore early tomorrow morning [2/2/01]. The flood level is expected to peak near the major flood level [9.7 metres] late tomorrow morning[2/2/01]. Further heavy rainfall may possibly result increased levels, which will be closely monitored. At this stage, moderate flooding is also expected in the lower Richmond River Friday night/ Saturday morning. Bungawalbyn Junction - exceed minor flood level Friday evening 2/2/01 - reach moderate flood level [4.5 metres] Saturday morning with further rises possible if the heavy rainfall continue Coraki - exceed minor flood level Friday evening 2/2/01 - reach moderate flood level [5 metres] Saturday morning with further rises possible if the heavy rainfall continues Wiangaree - Exceed the minor flood level [11.0 metres] around 10 pm tonight [1/2/00] with further rises possible if the heavy rainfall continues. Kyogle - Exceed the minor flood level [12.0 metres] around 3 am tomorrow [2/2/00]. Further rise are possible with continued heavy rainfall.
