I suppose many of you have already seen it, but in case you haven't, take a
look at this summer's decile rainfall map of WA:

Amazing amount of rainfall compared with the average. At first I thought
this was just due to a few TC's dumping a lot of rain, but certain areas in
the southern half have received substantial rain from other sources.
Actually, the whole of Australia has been wet:

But WA has maybe seen the biggest deviation from average. In fact, the last
year has been pretty wet for WA:

Makes you wonder about possible links between the WA rainfall and other
climate events elsewhere...
